IGO are currently searching for an experienced and qualified Maintenance Planner / Scheduler to join the team at our Nova Operation. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, this role is a permanent full time position FIFO from Perth working an 8:6 roster. The Nova Operation is located in the Fraser Range region of Western Australia. This is an exciting time to be involved in, and make your contribution to this world class nickel project.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Plan all jobs entirely before scheduling;
  • Plan, schedule, and execute shutdown activities;
  • Create, track, and improve standard jobs;
  • Utilise and continuously improve the weekly scheduling process to maximise maintenance crew productivity, tool time, and job effectiveness;
  • Oversee parts staging area;
  • Manage priorities and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise scheduled jobs; and
  • Be a key voice on the journey toward being a ‘professional’ maintenance organisation founded on a proactive best practice maintenance culture, world class asset management acumen, and safety maturity.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Ideally a trade qualification with related hands-on planning experience;
  • A demonstrated track record creating detailed and credible job plans in industrial maintenance;
  • Proven track record creating challenging but achievable weekly schedules;
  • Proven track record planning and delivering on shutdown scope:  in full, on time and on budget;
  • Pronto CMMS and MS Project – expert skill level;
  • Extensive and demonstrable experience in implementing and improving PM and PdM maintenance strategies; and
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
