We are focused on continuous improvement and strive for operational excellence, as a result we are excited to welcome this newly created, permanent role to our team.  

In this role you will provide support, guidance and technical advice to line management in relation to safety management to ensure that the operation maintains a safe workplace.

You will have the opportunity to join a collaborative team that is passionate about Health, Safety, Environment and Community, where your efforts will be valued. Working an attractive 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth, you will also receive a competitive remuneration package including incentive opportunities and fantastic camp facilities with your own permanent room.

Along with an energetic ‘can do’ attitude and significant experience in a similar role within a mining or mineral processing environment, you will also have the following:
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety;
  • Lead Incident Investigation Training – ICAM or equivalent;
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written;
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (desirable);
  • Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (desirable);
  • A strong understanding of environmental management systems;
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate;
  • Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers licence, and
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last three months.
