THE ROLE

The successful applicant will be accountable for a dynamic team of Occupational Health and Safety professionals with the key focus of this role being to continue to drive positive behavioral changes through the ongoing development of safe working systems.

In this role you will provide support, guidance and technical advice to line management and the site-based team to ensure that the operation maintains a safe workplace. The key success to this role is understanding and caring about people by building relationships and developing trust – we believe in being better together.

YOUR EXPERIENCE
Along with an energetic, pro-active attitude, you will also have:
  • Significant experience in a similar role within a mining or mineral processing environment;
  • A tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or  related discipline;
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skillset and safety intelligence;
  • Proficiency in using data, facts and professional opinion to support decision making;
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written to effectively engage and deliver information to all stakeholders;
  • A current manual Australian drivers licence; and
  • A current National Police Clearance.
