Due to our exciting and ambitious 2021 exploration program with increased drilling and geophysical activities, we are looking for experienced Geophysical Field Assistants who have been in a leading hand position or looking for leadership experience. We have a team of highly skilled Exploration professionals and this Leading Hand position will complement our team.
Reporting to the Geophysical Field Supervisor, you will be working in small crews of 3 – 4 people conducting Moving loop EM surveys within remote, regional locations. The successful applicant will empower a positive team environment - we believe in being better together.
Primary accountabilities will include:
- Assisting with camp logistics and management; including cooking, cleaning and ordering consumables;
Routine maintenance of vehicles, generators and other equipment;
Ongoing assessments of HSE risks and associated reporting;
Data entry and ensuring that all paperwork and filing is completed in an accurate and timely fashion; and
Championing excellence and leadership in creating a positive safety culture and actively participate in supporting the Company’s values and objectives.

This position will be offered on a 16:12 roster (days only) with a view to start in late January 2021.

Together with an energetic, positive approach and passion for exploration, you will also have the following:
- Experience leading field Geophysical ground survey crews is highly desirable, particularly Moving Loop EM survey experience;
Be safety focused with the drive to be part of a successful team supporting our company values;
A strong passion for mineral exploration and ore deposit discovery;
Ability to work in remote locations on greenfields projects and a willingness to undertake campaign work with tent or caravan accommodation;
Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers licence;
MR Licence, Forklift Ticket are desirable; and
Must be able to complete a First Aid certificate and National Police Clearance.
