    Hi I am an international student and currently pursuing masters degree in mining engineering, when scrolling through eligibility criteria for vacation program for mining engineers I saw that the applicant must hold a valid WA manual driver's license, however I have a international manual driving license.

    Yes you do need to obtain a manual license for the program.

    However my question is do I have to get the license before application? Can I get it once I have applied for the program?

    You do not have to have it when you apply but must commit to getting it within 6 months.
