All projects are dependent on business needs. But some examples will be project work on technical improvements on site, reliability engineering, design work to solve specific technical issues faced. The tasks will be real engineering work that will contribute to the business and your development as an engineer as well.

That really depends on your own interests. The business needs are varied but there are many opportunities to develop both your hard/soft skills during the program. Things I would personally focus on would be working within a team, leadership, and trying to implement the theoretical knowledge learned from University into a practical setting. Hi Jane, which role are you applying for within the vacation program? As for knowledge and skills, the program is set up for you to learn as much as you can. You wouldn't need any specific prior knowledge coming into the program.

Thanks, as I have a chemical engineering bachelor degree and I just have experience working in Vietnam, I am ready to learn and work in engineering field to gain more experience in Australia.I hope my work related to provide products for renewable energy sectors which I learn at my master course at Queensland University.
