How could I best prepare for a career in mining now?
What skills do you think most important going into the future? Are there particular programs worth learning. Is data science or coding valuable?

Hi Alexander, There is no requirement to know how to code. I found it to be a good skill to have. I have taught myself to coed, which has been very useful in data processing. I wouldn't recommend a language to learn, but to learn the skill to process data and visualise it in a meaningful way. If you can achieve this on excel, that great (I learnt R for reference)

That's great to hear, I'm trying to teach R to as many co-workers as possible ð
