What are the prerequisites for applying a graduate program?

I’ve completed my master degree in renewable energy with bachelor in electrical engineering and I have 2 yrs of experience as a senior testing and commissioning engineer. I would like to know what better I can do to be a ideal candidate for the graduate engineer position
