What mining methods does IGO use? What makes IGO stand out in terms of mining engineering?

I can only speak for nova, but we utilise several UG mining methods. Longhole stoping, multi-level long hole, narrow, short fat stopes, and a modified AVOKA mining Method. When working in D&B at Nova, no 2 stopes are the same, so it is very interesting to design drill and blast patterns around all these different shapes

This is not my field but I know that here at Cosmos the shaft that is currently in construction for transporting ore to the surface is quite innovative

At Nova we design our stopes to not have sill pillars. Because we are a flat ore body we have multiple mining fronts, so we can mine somewhere else and come back once the previous stope is backfilled.
