Your Opportunity

IGO is seeking an experienced Tenement Officer to support the administration and compliance of IGO’s diverse tenement portfolio. Working closely with the Tenements Manager, Exploration team, key business stakeholders and external consultants, this role is critical to ensuring statutory obligations are met and tenements are managed responsibly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role requiring strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

This role plays a vital part in maintaining IGO’s licence to operate. Your work ensures regulatory compliance, protects business value, and enables exploration and operational teams to progress with confidence.

 

 

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate daily tenement compliance activities, ensuring government records and statutory information are accurate and up to date;
  • Prepare, execute and lodge statutory documentation, including expenditure reports, exemptions, statutory declarations and related filings;
  • Maintain accurate tenement and agreement registers, systems and databases, including specialist tenement management software (e.g., PX4);
  • Partner closely with stakeholders to support tenement-related obligations, costs and agreements;
  • Liaise with external tenement consultants, government departments and other regulators;
  • Manage tenement-related administration, including raising purchase orders, invoice processing, reporting, payments and reconciliations (Pronto); and
  • Maintain high standards of document control and governance in line with legislation and internal frameworks.

 

What You’ll Bring

We are seeking someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working with detail to join our team. Ideally, you will bring most of the following:

  • Relevant experience in tenement administration, land access, legal or compliance-focused roles;
  • Strong attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset;
  • Working knowledge of WA mining legislation and DMPE processes;
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm during high-volume or deadline-driven periods;
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Word and Excel skills;
  • Experience with Tenement Management Systems and/or specialist databases (PX4 advantageous);
  • Experience with Pronto (desirable);
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to work and willingness to support changing priorities;
  • A recent National Police Clearance (issued within the past 2 months).
