Your Opportunity

We are seeking an engaging and experienced Talent Advisor to support end to end recruitment and team administration. Reporting to the Manager Talent and Capability you will work alongside a Senior Advisor and support recruitment of roles that fit within our Corporate, Exploration and Operational portfolios. A large part of this role includes daily administration support, coordinating due diligence, supporting IGO Graduates and undertaking project activities that helps us deliver on our broader Talent Management Strategy. The role is offered on a fixed-term basis to cover a period of Parental Leave.

What You’ll Do

  • End to End Recruitment: partner with Hiring Managers to recruit for processing and maintenance roles, including advertising, interviewing, candidate management, and offers;
  • Due Diligence: manage pre-employment checks and compliance processes for all candidates;
  • Graduate Program Coordination:  be the central point of contact for IGO Graduates, coordinating Grad Connect days, training bookings, and general support;
  • Strategic Sourcing: identify talent for hard-to-fill roles, build pipelines, conduct market mapping, and source candidates proactively;
  • Stakeholder Management; build strong relationships across IGO and with external partners and suppliers;
  • General Administration and Project Support: respond to Talent enquiries, update systems and processes, support overflow recruitment, and assist with contractor arrangements and referral programs;

 

What You’ll Bring

Along with being collaborative and pro-active with a strong customer focus we are seeking applications from candidates who meet most of the following:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally recruiting blue-collar roles in mining / resources;
  • Strong strategic sourcing skills and familiarity with LinkedIn Recruiter;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels;
  • Strong organisational skills and a self-driven approach to managing tasks and projects;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems (PageUp experience is a plus); and
  • A recent National Police Clearance (within 2 months)
