Your Opportunity

We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development Administrator to support a busy team working in a centralised model.

Reporting to the Manager Training and Compliance, this role is responsible for the administration and coordination of learning and development activities across IGO and ensuring the maintenance of robust learning and development systems and processes.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Coordinate and schedule internal and external training, ensuring alignment with the L&D calendar;
  • Maintain the L&D calendar and provide guidance on L&D policies and procedures;
  • Manage the shared L&D mailbox, ensuring timely responses and communication;
  • Support LMS users and manage tasks such as creating and editing curricula;
  • Maintain L&D Quick Reference Guides (QRGs);
  • Track attendance, upload certifications, and monitor training compliance;
  • Generate monthly compliance and WHS reports;
  • Coordinate in-house training logistics, including room setup and facilitator support;
  • Raise purchase orders and process invoices accurately and on time;
  • Provide a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders;

 

Your Experience

This role will suit someone who has a passion for administration and co-ordination and enjoys providing a high level of customer service and working collaboratively in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will also bring:

  • Relevant qualifications such as Cert Ill Administration or similar (desirable);
  • Past experience supporting a Learning & Development team within a competency skills-based training model. 
  • Experience within the mining industry is essential (or similar heavy industry);
  • High proficiency in systems including LMS (SAP / Success Factors), MS Office suite, and Pronto;
  • Demonstrated experience in the coordination of learning and development programs;
  • Customer focussed attitude and well-developed communication and relationship skills;
  • Self-motivated with a can do and flexible attitude to meet varying work demands; and 
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
