Roster:                      8:6 (Monday roster) | Fixed Term Contract to late 2026

Location:                   Nova Nickel Operation | FIFO Ex-Perth or DIDO surrounding areas

Your Opportunity

Our underground Nova operation (Ni-Cu-Co) is at a critical phase of its life cycle with production due to finish in late 2026. This position will offer you a chance to be part of the motivated and high performing team that proudly brings the mine to a close. 

Due to internal career development movements, our underground Nova operation is seeking interest from Mining Engineers across specialties including Drill and Blast, Planning, Short-Term Scheduling, Ventilation and Backfill. If you would like to join our well-established and highly technical team at a site that is renowned for its culture, we want to hear from you!

 

What You’ll Bring

We are seeking applications from candidates who meet most of the following requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering (or related discipline);
  • Full understanding of the production cycle of large underground open stope mine;
  • Well-developed understanding of associated mining practices; ventilation, paste fill, development;
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels within the business;
  • High level of Deswik Competency including Ops, Sched and UGDB modules (Desirable);
  • High level of competency in Excel and Power BI (Desirable);
  • Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers’ licence; and
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
