Your Opportunity

Nova is seeking a Coordinator Processing to join their Nickel, Copper, Cobalt processing plant. This is a full time, permanent role working an 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth (or DIDO from surrounding areas). Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, you will endeavour to ensure all processing teams have the resources, equipment, and training necessary to conduct their tasks in a safe and efficient manner in order to maximise metal production.

Key accountabilities for this role include:

  • Monitoring and reporting on the process plant performance
  • Managing the processing plan targets and compliance
  • Analyse department WHS statistics and data, develop and apply prevention initiatives to actively reduce incident or injury rates
  • Support the processing teams in managing training requirements, technical competencies, and talent pipeline

Your Experience

Along with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute and be part of a team, experience in a similar role is desirable. You will also have the following:

  • Strong understanding and experience in mineral processing operations, with exposure to Nickel and/or Copper preferred
  • Experience in base metal flotation
  • High level of understanding of process control systems
  • Safety focused with the drive to be part of a successful team supporting our company values
  • Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers license.
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last 2 months.
