Our knowledgeable People team spans across business units that include mine site Operations (Production and Care & Maintenance), Exploration and Corporate.

We are seeking an experienced People Officer to cover a period of 12-months Parental Leave. Within this crucial role, you will provide first line support across all areas of the People team that includes generalist activities through to remuneration, benefits and HRIS support. You will support cyclical People activities and manage the accuracy of our People related data.  This role is offered on a full-time basis however we are open to a part-time job share arrangement should we find the right candidates.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Support the team with HRIS management of employee data records and electronic files, maintaining high data accuracy to ensure reliability of information and data integrity;
  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including mobilisation to site where required;
  • Preparation of contract variations (reclassifications, secondments etc.);
  • Support annual People team activities and programs of work where required such as remuneration, performance, engagement and talent cycle activities;
  • Manage People Team accounts including raising and receipting purchase orders;
  • Manage the lifecycle of immigration activities; and
  • Support People Advisors with overflow generalist activities

 

Your Experience

This role will suit someone with highly developed organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and experience within a general People (HR) role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management (desirable);
  • Experience working within a generalist People role;   
  • Excellent organisation skills and keen attention to detail;
  • High proficiency in HRM/HRIS systems and platforms ideally with SuccessFactors / Compass;
  • Superior communication and relationship skills
  • Experience with invoicing and receipting using Pronto will be well-regarded; and
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.
