Your Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Compliance Trainer to join our People team at Nova. In this role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment programs that ensure our workforce is competent, compliant, and confident in performing their roles safely and effectively.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Delivering compliance training aligned with regulatory and safety standards including weekly Site Inductions
  • Coaching and supporting employees on compliance topics
  • Coordinating completion of training for Statutory Positions
  • Developing engaging training materials and assessments
  • Leading compliance training strategies across the site
  • Collaborating with site leaders and external stakeholders to maintain industry alignment
  • Leveraging LMS and digital tools to track and enhance training delivery

Your Experience

You are a confident facilitator with a strong background in mining or processing and a passion for developing others. You bring:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or newer)
  • Valid C Class Driver’s Licence
  • Proficiency with Training Management Systems and Microsoft 365
  • Demonstrated ability to create training content and support staff development
  • Strong time management and reporting skills
  • Valid ‘C’ class manual drivers’ licence; and
  • National Police Clearance obtained within the last two months.

Highly desirable:

  • National competencies in areas such as confined space, gas testing, working at heights, First Aid/CPR, and High Risk Work Licences
